Familiar names at the top of the most traded on the Helsinki Stock Exchange – Nasdaq announced the trading statistics

In November, the most traded stock on the Helsinki Stock Exchange was a network company Nokia. The next most traded companies were banks Nordea and an energy company Fortum.

In November, the Nasdaq Helsinki main market’s share exchange rose by 16.6 percent compared to the comparison period. Share turnover in November 2025 was 9.3 billion euros. The average daily turnover was EUR 467.1 million.

The First North marketplace’s share turnover in November was EUR 62.9 million, compared to EUR 45.0 million in the comparison period.

The combined market value of the listed companies remained almost at the level of the comparison period. The total value of the main market companies was 302.9 billion euros, while it was 304.9 billion euros at the same time a year earlier. The combined market value of the companies on the First North list was EUR 3.2 billion, which was the same amount as the comparison period.

In November, Nasdaq Helsinki’s average offer book depth at the best price levels was 2.0 times greater in companies belonging to the OMXH25 index than in the next most liquid marketplace. Last year’s corresponding figure was 1.7.

The depth of the offer book describes how many buy and sell offers the share has at different price levels. A deeper offer book means better liquidity and volume.

The number of stock exchange trades on the Nasdaq Helsinki main market in November was an average of 72,311 trades per day. The amount decreased slightly from last year, when an average of 78,796 transactions were made per day.

Nasdaq Helsinki was able to offer the best buy/sell rate in OMXH25 shares 83.9 percent of the time in November.

Nasdaq Helsinki’s market share of the stock exchange trading of shares of listed companies traded in Helsinki was 74.5 percent in November, which means that the share of foreign markets was 25.5 percent of the trading.

The largest broker in November was Morgan Stanley Europe SE and the next largest Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and HRTEU Limited.

There were no new listings on the Helsinki Stock Exchange in November.
