The promotional tour in Europe organized by Consortium for the Protection of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOPin synergy with the Consortium for the Protection of Ricotta di Bufala Campana DOP and the Consortium of Prosciutto di San Daniele DOP. The campaign, which aimed to spread the Italian lifestyle and the authentic taste of Made in Italyinvolved over fifteen events in the main cities of seven countries: France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, England, Austria and Switzerland.
Called the “European campaign,” the initiative aimed to strengthen theexport to the Old Continent through an ambitious plan, with the strategic objective of looking to the future and to new generations of consumers. The promotion focused on telling how they are born unique products in the world and, at the same time, on how to best enhance them.

The success of promotional events
Consolidating the presence of the Consortia in the various countries was a series of events which took place from September to November. The locations ranged from institutional headquarters, such as embassies and cultural institutes, to trendy restaurants and clubs, thus intercepting all types of consumers. They were held masterclass dedicated to stakeholders esterifollowed by guided tastings addressed to mozzarella-lover. All appointments recorded on sold outan unmistakable signal of growing success of Bufala Campana PDO abroad.
