XploraOne, the smartphone for children without internet or social networks

Xplora has entered the world of ‘smartphones’ for children with HMD, to offer a device without internet or social networks, which helps them stay connected through calls and messages.

XploraOne is the new device from Xplora, a Norwegian manufacturer of wearables for children, with which it seeks to offer “a little freedom” to the little ones, “with safe technology.”

It is a basic phone manufactured in collaboration with HMD, which only serves to “call, send messages and share content securely”, without internet or access to social networks. It also does not have third-party applications.

“This phone is not made for entertainment. XploraOne works best when it is not in your child’s hands, but in their pocket,” the company says on the product page.

It includes parental controls to manage the contacts with which minors can communicate, and integrates location monitoring technology, so you know where they are at all times.

Xplora has not shared more details about this smartphone, which is in a pre-sale phase after registration.
