Car sales are growing in Croatia: One brand dominates the market

According to these data, 64,934 new cars were sold in Croatia in the first 11 months of this year, which is 4,770 units or 7.9 percent more than in the same period last year.

Sales in November compared to the same month last year are at approximately the same level, with 4,038 units, which is 16 units or 0.4 percent more.

The best-selling brand in the first 11 months is Škoda with 8,797 units and a market share of 13.6 percent. Volkswagen is second with 8,000 cars sold and a market share of 12.3 percent, and Opel is third with 5,811 units sold, which was enough for slightly less than nine percent of the market.

According to the number of cars sold and market share, they are followed by Renault, Suzuki, Toyota, Dacia, Hyundai and Kia, and Audi closes the list of the top ten.

The best-selling model in 11 months is Škoda Octavia, followed by Volkswagen T-Cross, Opel Corsa, Renault Clio, Opel Mokka, Suzuki Vitara, Renault Captur, Dacia Duster, Škoda Kamiq and Dacia Sandero.

Gasoline drive accounted for 47.8 percent of cars sold in the 11 months of this year, diesel 11.9 percent, hybrid 36.6 percent, gas-powered 1.9 percent and electric 1.8 percent.
