Munich: Concrete slab thrown on S-Bahn – 700 travelers stranded

München – Dangerous attack on a fully occupied Munich S-Bahn train! Unknown people threw a heavy concrete slab onto a moving train – only by luck no one was injured.

The attack happened on Thursday around 5:20 p.m. under the cover of darkness, as the federal police confirmed on Friday. A train of the S-Railway line 1 was traveling between Moosach and Feldmoching when he was hit by an object while passing a bridge.

The perpetrators fled undetected

The damaged train had to be taken to a depot and is currently being repaired. The route was closed between 5:30 p.m. and 6:44 p.m. Trains were canceled and others had to be rerouted.

Police are looking for witnesses
