Trump accused Zelensky of not signing an agreement with Russia yet

US President Donald Trump made it clear that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky bears personal responsibility for the fact that the plan proposed by the American leader to resolve the situation in Ukraine remains unsigned.

The statement was made after the completion of three days of negotiations in Florida between American representatives Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner with the Ukrainian delegation led by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov. No progress was achieved on them.

“I’m disappointed that President Zelensky hasn’t read my proposal yet. His people liked it, but he didn’t. As far as I understand, Russia also agrees to it. But Zelensky. He’s not ready for it,” Trump said.

The original version of the plan required Ukraine to make additional territorial concessions, limit the size of its armed forces and refuse to join NATO. Under pressure from European countries, some changes were made to it, but their content remains unknown.

At the same time, the Russian leadership also declared that some clauses of the agreement were unacceptable.

Let us add that the new concept of American security of the United States is also against NATO expansion and in support of establishing ties with Russia.
