Sydney Sweeney responds to rumors about her: “Everyone on social media is crazy”

Since the release of the controversial campaign of Sidney Sweeney and “American Eagle” which made a play on words between the word genes and the word jeans, a storm began around Sweeney: on the one hand, she was criticized for white supremacy and on the other hand, rumors began surrounding her that these were not good genes at all, but that the actress’s beauty comes from surgeries and injections. On the occasion of the release of the movie “Housekeeper”, Sweeney and her co-star Amanda Seyfried were interviewed by Allure, and answered the questions submitted by the magazine’s surfers.

The opening question was: “Which rumor about you would you like to disprove?” And Sweeney did not miss the opportunity to put an end to the persistent rumors about plastic surgery and injections. “I’ve never done aesthetic work, I’m afraid of needles at all,” the star stated.

Sweeney explained why the online comparisons between her photos from the age of 12 and professional photos today are illogical: “Obviously I would look different with makeup, lighting and styling. People on social media are completely crazy.” According to her, if she had an aesthetic treatment – it would only be to correct the asymmetry in her face that was created as a result of a surfing accident in her childhood. “I had 19 stitches and to this day I have a scar,” she revealed. Lucky she has great genes.
