The women’s volleyball club world championship is underway

The Women’s Volleyball Club World Cup. Tomorrow the Prosecco Doc A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano and the Savino Del Bene Scandicci will begin their journey in San Paolo, Brazil, to try to win the title of world champions.

It will be Conegliano’s fifth participation in the intercontinental event. The Panthers are reigning champions, by virtue of the success achieved in China, in Hangzhou, in 2024. On the board the Prosecco DOC Imoco has three titlesas well as a lost final, all in the previous four editions. Absolute debut instead for Scandicci, who qualified for the event thanks to the splendid second place achieved in the last CEV Champions League. The Tuscans’ opponents, included in Pool A, will be the Brazilians Osasco, the Peruvians Club Lima and the Kazakhs Zhetysu. For the Treviso players, in Pool B, there will be challenges with the other Brazilians of Dentil Praia, with the Egyptians of Zamalek and with the Americans of Orlando Valkyries.
