“Superbus” announced a labor conflict due to violence against drivers

The trade union organization Koach Le-Ovdim announced a state of labor conflict in the Superbus bus company due to constant cases of violence against public transport drivers.

The union claims that in the last month alone there have been 11 attacks on Superbus bus drivers and supervisors, with stones thrown at them, beatings and tear gas thrown at them.

The company’s management, the union notes, does not take measures to protect its workers and combat violence.

If the Ministry of Transport, the police and the administration of the Superbus company do not take effective measures in the coming days, the operation of Superbus buses in Jerusalem, Haifa, Afula, Tiberias and other cities of the country will be suspended in two weeks.
