Dulux introduces a trio of green colors for every living space

“Dulux Color of the Year 2026 – The Rhythm of Blues – Sound Blue” brings the blue colors of three paint colors: Free Groove 62BB 08/369 – Generous blue, Mellow Flow 10BB 39/100 – Romantic green and Slow Swing 66BB 06/077 – Quiet green, so that every homeowner can find their own shade of green.

Along with the three main blue colors, color experts from AkzoNobel Group (the group that owns the Dulux brand) also introduced three corresponding trend color palettes. The first is Quiet Green (The Slow color story), using bold colors and a wintery feel, helping to bring a feeling of serenity but stability, peace and sophistication to the space. Next is The Flow color story color palette with gentle, relaxing shades, “blowing” into the space a cozy, familiar feeling to connect with those around. Finally, The Free color story with cheerful, vibrant colors evokes positive energy and excitement for the space.

Sharing about the meaning of this year’s color collection, Ms. Nguyen Phi Anh Dao, Director of Marketing and Product Management for Southeast Asia and Vietnam, AkzoNobel’s Decorative Paints unit, said color is not just a coating but also a language of emotions. With “Color of the Year 2026 – The Rhythm of Blues – Acoustic Blue”, she hopes to bring customers inspiration to express the rhythm of their living space. “Whether they love peace, want to connect with love or desire an explosion of passion, this trio of shifting blues and accompanying color palettes will be an infinite source of creativity, helping users create their dream space,” she said.

In particular, this year, in Vietnam, Dulux continues to accompany Elle Decoration Vietnam Magazine in the series of events “Pop-Up Office season 4” with the theme “Rhythm of Space”, inspired by the “Color of the Year 2026”. The series of events takes place from November 29 to December 24, at DSpace (HCMC), with 3 functional areas flexibly modified based on the spirit of the Thanh Thanh trio.

Talking about this combination, Ms. Nguyen Phan Thuy Duong, Editor of Elle Decoration Vietnam Magazine, said that the theme “Pop-Up Office” was developed directly from “Color of the Year 2026”. According to her, the subtle changes of the trio of colors from peaceful and profound to liberal and free are the core materials that help them create spaces that change flexibly and guide emotions.

“The Rhythm of Blues has told the story of the times and inspired color trends for the fields of interior design, construction, exhibition…”, she said.

In addition to applications in the field of decorative paint, this year’s color set is also designed to inspire many other industries such as aviation, automotive, consumer electronics and architecture.
