Ukraine denounces the launch of 80 drones by Russia during the last hours

The Ukrainian authorities have denounced this Wednesday the launch of 80 drones by Russia during the last hours, 50 of which have been shot down, in the midst of the attacks within the framework of the invasion unleashed in February 2022 by order of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

The Ukrainian Air Force has indicated on its Telegram account that Russian troops have launched 80 aircraft against various parts of the country, before detailing that 50 have been intercepted and confirming the impact of 29 at seven unspecified points.

“The attack is still underway. There are multiple enemy drones in the airspace,” he warned, while calling on the population to “respect security regulations” in case of a wave of Russian air attacks.

For its part, the Russian Government has highlighted that in the last few hours 25 Ukrainian drones have been destroyed, including four that were flying towards the capital, Moscow, without commenting on possible victims or material damage.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has noted in its Telegram account that 21 devices have been shot down in Bryansk, in addition to six in the Moscow region, two in the Kaluga region and one in the Belgorod region, without Ukraine having commented on the objectives of the attacks.
