Bosch Italia and the ASPHI Foundation launch the Play-Able initiative

The initiative involves the donation of play stations completely customized and adapted by the ASPHI Foundation to children with disabilities. These configurations combine assistive technologies, aids and customized solutions that allow you to use the console with greater autonomy, facilitating not only fun, but also the development of digital skills, communication and socialization. Families will be involved in a training course to make the most of the tools received, which can also be useful in school and daily life.

Play-Able wants to demonstrate that video games and digital tools, too often considered pure entertainment, can become concrete opportunities to overcome barriers, allow children to express their skills and encourage social participation. As underlined by Bosch management, the goal is to transform technology into a bridge to inclusion, in line with the company principle “Technology for life”.

Alongside the solidarity initiative, Bosch has also launched a communication campaign with the aim of raising public awareness on the issue of digital accessibility. Ambassador of the project is Favij (Lorenzo Ostuni), one of the most followed creators in Italy and a symbolic face of gaming culture. Through his experience and his ability to talk about video games in an immediate and close way to younger people, Favij will help spread the inclusive message of Play-Able.
