Audrey Pascual starts the Paralympic Ski World Cup with three golds

The Spanish skier Audrey Pascual successfully started her career in the 2025-2026 Paralympic Ski World Cup and added a triplet of gold medals in the event held between this Wednesday and this Friday in Steinach am Brenner (Austria).

The 21-year-old from Madrid could not have started her competitive preparation in a better way ahead of her debut next year at the Paralympic Games that will be hosted by Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo in the month of March and where she will be one of the great assets in the medal table.

Before facing her return to the World Cup, a competition in which last year she won the Golden Globe for Super G, Pascual competed on Tuesday in a FIS category Super-G in the same Austrian town where she was second behind her main rival, the German Anna-Lena Forster.

However, the Spanish skier was unbeatable in the three World Cup events, starting with the combined, which she dominated in both the Super G and the slalom heats, her two favorites. With a total time of 1:54.45 (1:09.86+44.59), she was more than a second and a half ahead of the German.

24 hours later, Pascual maintained his momentum in the Super-G, where this time his main opposition was not Forster but the Dutch Barbara van Bergen, whom, with a time of 1:17.38, he surpassed by 70 hundredths thanks above all to his dominance in the first and third sectors of the descent.

Finally, the young woman from Madrid closed her hat-trick in the second Super G contest held this Friday, this time coming back and signing her victory thanks to the last sector where she gained almost a second on Forster, who was leading until then. Pascual (1:18.02) beat China’s Sitong Liu by 60 hundredths.
