These are all the winners of The Game Awards 2025, the “Oscars” of video games

The star of the ceremony was the French video game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which won ten awards, including Game of the Year, as well as awards in key categories such as direction, narrative, music and independent game.

In other categories, the second season of The Last of Us was recognized as best adaptation of a video game into a series or movie, while Umamusume: Pretty Derby won as best mobile video game. In action, Hades II excelled, and Hollow Knight: Silksong won in action and adventure.

The gala was also the setting for important announcements and trailers for 2026, with previews of new titles and the return of emblematic franchises, consolidating The Game Awards as a key showcase for the future of gaming.
