Paris city cable car supplied by Doppelmayr opens

Die C1 The line mentioned is the first urban cable car in the greater Paris region Île-de-Franceand leads over the national road 406 and a marshalling yard. The cable car in the Marne Valley was built in the suburb Créteil Pointe du Lac established and follows Limeil-Brévannes.

Five stations

It is located southeast of the Paris city center and northwest of Orly Airport. The C1 has five stations that are directly connected to other public transport such as metro, bus or tram. The client was the local transport authority of Île-de-France in the greater Paris area, Île-de-France Mobilités. The project consortium was led by Doppelmayr France, which also includes infrastructure planners, landscape designers, civil engineering and architectural companies. Doppelmayr recently had the city cable car as a “Lighthouse project for Europe” designated.

The Vorarlberg Doppelmayr Group continued to increase its sales in the 2024/25 financial year, as in previous years. After the most recent figure of 1.057 billion euros (2023/24), the financial year that ended resulted in an 13.19 percent increased business volume of 1.197 billion eurosas was announced at the balance sheet presentation in autumn.
