Energy company Fortum’s the shareholders’ nomination committee has submitted to the company’s board its proposal for the 2026 annual general meeting, which is planned to be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
The shareholders’ nomination committee proposes that the company’s board of directors consists of a total of ten members. The nominees for new members are those known as the major owner of St1 Mika Anttonen mixed Emmanuelle Verger-Chabot.
The chairman of the board is proposed Mikael from Silventot and vice chairman of the board Jonas Gustavsonia. Served as a member of the board since 2020 Prank Paavola is not available as a board member for a new term.
The nomination committee has also proposed a substantial increase in the board’s fees. For example, the remuneration of the chairman of the board is going up to 175,000 euros from the current 155,000 euros. The board members’ remuneration will rise to 75,000 euros from the current 68,000 euros.
