OnePlus returns to play on the attack and does so with a classic move of contemporary tech: no longer (just) a “strong” phone, but a small ecosystem designed to cover daily needs – work, entertainment, fitness – while remaining in a competitive price range. The new hat-trick presented today puts it together OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2 e OnePlus Watch Litewith the clear idea of offering a consistent experience between devices, made up of fast software, generous battery life and quality screens.
The operation is framed by the “Never Settle” philosophy, reiterated by the Chief Marketing Officer of OnePlus Europe, Celina Shi: “By combining industry-leading hardware with a refined and intuitive software experience, we offer… high-value devices”. Translated: you try to regain attention focusing on performance and integration, not just a single marketing “hit”.
OnePlus 15R: “smart” flagship power and XXL battery
The cornerstone of the ecosystem remains the smartphone. OnePlus 15R is described as a “flagship with the best quality-price ratio” and debuts (globally) with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, supported by LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 memory.
The message is clear: high performance, but without exploding the price list.
On the autonomy front, OnePlus pushes hard: 7,400 mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, with a promise of durability over time (at least 80% capacity after four years).
And then there’s the screen: 6.83″ AMOLED LTPS 1.5K, 165Hz refresh rate and a declared touch sampling rate of 3200Hz – numbers that speak above all to those who play games and those who want “top” fluidity.
OnePlus Pad Go 2: the natural “second screen”.
If the smartphone is the center, the tablet is the productivity and entertainment companion. Pad Go 2 features a 12.1″ display in 7:5 format (also designed for reading and writing), with Dolby Vision, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chip.
The “ecosystem” idea passes above all through software: AI tools (AI Writer, AI Recorder, AI Summary) and Open Canvas for multitasking up to three windows, to bring the experience closer to that of a small “light” computer.
The practical promise is also interesting: 10,050 mAh battery, up to 15 hours of video and even reverse charging via cable to power your smartphone in an emergency. And, in the Shadow Black variant, SIM/5G also arrives (with calls and messages), an option that makes the tablet less “sofa” and more “mobility”.
The smartwatch to enlarge the base (also iOS)
The third piece is the one that often completes the ecosystem effect: the smartwatch. The Watch Lite aims to bring the “full experience” to a more accessible price, with a health/wellness package (60-second overview, stress and energy) and over 100 sports modes. On a practical level, OnePlus insists on two elements: dual-band GPS and autonomy up to 10 days, with fast charging (10 minutes for approximately 24 hours).
There is also a detail that says a lot about the strategy: the simultaneous association with two phones, even Android+iOS. It’s a way to get into more pockets, not just those already “OnePlus”.
Prices, timing and the “value” bet
The logic, in watermark, is that of “value on multiple devices”: 15R starts from 729 euros (12/256) and reaches 829 euros (12/512). Pad Go 2 is offered at 349 euros (8/128 Wi-Fi) or 449 euros (8/256 5G), while Watch Lite is announced at 179 euros.
In essence, OnePlus is trying to return to “central” not only with a powerful phone, but with a trio that covers the three most widespread tech habits: smartphone always in hand, tablet as a large screen for studying/viewing content/working, smartwatch as an extension for health and notifications. If the ecosystem is the new game, OnePlus has just put its pawns on the chessboard.
