75 years of the parish in Aalter-Brug is celebrated with a work of art: “From an old stained glass window from the church”

Firefighters, cycling teams and quad bike riders have their vehicles dedicated

As the highlight of the festive year, a work of art was inaugurated that will have a permanent place in the church: a stained glass window by Greta Kindt of GG Creations (Bruges).

“During the village center renovation in 2006, a stained glass window was removed from the portal, but fortunately it was decided to keep the ‘old glass’,” says Philippe Verleyen of the parish. “We had to and would give it a permanent place in the church in an original way.”

“Greta succeeded in creating a masterpiece with the letters S and G incorporated, a clear reference to our parish and its patron saint,” says Verleyen.
