Call of Duty creator Vince Zampella has died in a crash

Video game designer Vince Zampella has died in a car accident, says NBC Los Angeles.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Zampella was killed in a one-car accident in California. According to the channel, there were two passengers in the car, one of whom died immediately at the scene of the accident and the other in the hospital.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.

Zampella was 55 years old when he died. He was one of the successful ones Call of Duty – video game series creators and a founding member of the Infinity Ward game studio behind it.

He was also the head of the video game studio Respawn Entertainment. Game studios that Zampella has been involved in include, among others Medal of Honor– and Titanfall -behind the game series.

In 2021, Zampella was appointed by Electronic Arts Battlefield– war game series production to the lead.

Zampella’s death was also reported British newspaper The Guardian.
