Bjelica revealed how he left Dinamo: No club in the world cut salaries like that…

– I haven’t had any problems in two years. I had a great relationship with the Club Management. I received awards for communicator of the year, and the entire Management came to the awards. They had the greatest respect for me. Until March 13, when we disbanded our team, we had no disagreements – Bjelica began and continued:

– Then we had a meeting, we decided not to play the matches and to disband the team for ten days. We were at the meeting Antolić, Pear, Zoran Mommy me too. I told them that I was going to visit my family in Klagenfurt. Corona prolonged and one day they just called me. Before that, we said that Dinamo was never in such a good situation. For the first time, they didn’t have a cent of credit. After that, Barišić stated that Dinamo will build a stadium. Three days later, Zoran Mami called meć and said that he had agreed with Hakšabanov and that the club would pay compensation. I said that was great.

Although the club, according to his words, was in a great financial condition, in just one week Dinamo made a completely different decision.

– Then on October 25, Zoran called me. He told me that the Board makes a decision on salary reductions every night: 33 percent for one year, 33 percent for an indefinite period and 33 percent would be paid out. I was left in shock. I told him that, after earning 60 million, he tells me ultimatum that the Management is going with that decision. I said that I do not agree with that. After all, we did not deserve to be harmed. He told me that it was the Management’s decision and that he was going out tonight. Navečer we received the decision by message. I had to protect my interests. That was illegal, as it turned out later. No one in the world has made such a radical decision.

He also explained the allegations about how he came to the club with Hajduk’s lawyer.

– I called Marija Jurića to the union. He gave me the number of the lawyer, and it was Kasalo, who happened to be Hajduk’s lawyer. At that moment, it was important for me to have a good lawyer. We sent a letter to the club stating that we disagree with the decision. Već the next day my assistants were terminated, all six of them. Then everything was clear to me and I realized that there was no more cooperation.
