The Turkish Interior Minister determines the path of the Libyan Army Chief of Staff’s plane before it crashes

Ali Yerlikaya, Türkiye’s Interior Minister, revealed the route of the plane that took off from Ankara and carried Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali Al-Haddad, Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, and his companions, before it fell and killed them. Yerlikaya issued a statement on social media platforms about the incident, saying: “Contact was lost with the Falcon 50 plane bearing the number 9H-DFJ, which took off from Ankara Esenboga Airport heading to Tripoli at 20:10, as of 20:52.” He added: “The competent authorities received notification of an emergency landing from the aforementioned plane in the vicinity of the Haymana area, but after that no contact was made with the plane, and there were five passengers on board, including the Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army.
