Head-on collision on Meensesteenweg in Izegem: woman slightly injured

The young woman suffered minor injuries in the collision and was taken by the ambulance service to the AZ Delta in Izegem for medical care. Fortunately, the man was unharmed. There were no serious injuries.

The fire brigade arrived on site to bring the situation under control and clear the road. The intervention took more than an hour. Both vehicles suffered significant damage and had to be removed by a towing service.
