“I hope that there will be exports from Armenia to Azerbaijan as well.” Pashinyan

Last week, around 1,300 tons of gasoline was imported from Azerbaijan to Armenia via the Georgian railway, which is already being sold at gas stations.

Referring to the import of Kazakh and Russian wheat, and then Azerbaijani gasoline through the territory of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister said that it is also important for the EAEU, because Armenia has a railway connection with the EAEU.

“We have never had a railway connection with EAMU before. It is very important to appreciate the scale of what happened and I want to show, I show, I declare that peace is a reality. And that reality has concrete expressions. I hope for bilateral trade between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the near future… that is, now there are imports from Azerbaijan to Armenia. I hope there will be exports from Armenia to Azerbaijan as well,” said Pashinyan, also responding to the question why the Prime Minister does not miss the opportunity and regularly thanks the President of Azerbaijan on various platforms.

Pashinyan regularly offers Baku and Ankara to transit cargo through the territory of Armenia, but so far both countries have not publicly responded to this offer.
