Yemeni media reported a Saudi air attack on positions of forces associated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the eastern province of Hadhramaut.
According to Hodhod Yemen News, a Saudi drone struck STC mobilization sites in the Hashm al-Ayn area of Al Abr district. At least one person is known to be injured.
It is also reported that Saudi Arabian aircraft are intensifying their flights over other areas of Hadhramaut province.
There had been no official confirmation from Riyadh that strikes had been carried out on these targets at the time of publication.
Amid rising tensions between allies in the anti-Houthi coalition, Saudi Arabia had previously called on the STC to withdraw forces from Hadhramaut and Mahra.
