The Nativity scene and the roots, Meloni’s video greetings on social media

“He creche it does not impose anything on anyone, it tells a story, preserves values, deepens the roots, and one nation that knows its roots is a nation that is not afraid of confrontation or the future.” With these words Giorgia Meloni addresses her fans via social media Christmas greetings “to all Italians”.

And video of one minute and twenty-four seconds, without signs or institutional locations, opens in a homely setting, with the Christmas tree and a creche behind the Prime Minister. It ends with an overview of another nativity scene, the one housed under the internal colonnade of Palazzo Chigicaptured by a drone as the music box-style melody concludes.

A message of peace and identity

 

 

Meloni sends his best wishes “to those who experience Christmas with their family, to those who celebrate it by working, to those who are peaceful, to those who carry a worry in their hearts, to those who celebrate and to those who simply seek a moment of peace”. The Prime Minister invites us to be «proud of yours identity» and of the «universal message of amore e di pace» that the nativity scene brings with it.

The hope for the Italians

The president hopes that «this Christmas I can give everyone a little bit of luceOf calm e di forzathat it can be a time to find ourselves, to look forward with confidence, without forgetting those who need help and above all without forgetting who we are.”
