Morocco celebrates group victory and Hakimi’s return

Ayoub El Kaabi made it 3-0 with an unchallenged overhead kick from eleven meters in the 50th minute – he had already scored in this spectacular way in the opening game. Hakimi returns after almost two months

Egypt spares Salah

Group winners Egypt ended the preliminary round with a 0-0 draw against Angola. After two previous wins, the title contender was able to rest superstar Mohamed Salah from Liverpool FC as well as former Frankfurt player Omar Marmoush.
