Real Madrid’s French forward Kylian Mbappé suffers a sprain in his left knee and is a serious doubt for the Spanish Super Cup, as confirmed by the white club’s medical services this Wednesday in a statement.

“After the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a sprain in his left knee,” says the note issued by Real Madrid. Thus, the Frenchman is a serious doubt for the Spanish Super Cup, in which the whites will face Atlético de Madrid in the semi-final on January 8. In addition, he will not be available for this Sunday’s league match against Real Betis.

Mbappé joins the casualties of Éder Militao and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
