National Heritage makes a record in 2025 with 7.5 million visits, 3.8% more than in 2024

In 2025, the palaces, monasteries, museums and spaces managed by National Heritage received a total of 7,450,828 visitors, which is a new historical record which exceeds the previous mark, registered in 2024 when 7,169,027 visitors were counted.

Visits to the set of spaces managed by the institution have grown by 3.8% compared to 2024with April as the reference month, with 796,588 visits.

Among the most visited spaces are: the Royal Palace of Madrid with 1,769,167 visits – which is 11.6% more than in 2024 -, the Gallery of the Royal Collections with 741,589 visitors – which has increased by just over 93,000 people – and the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial with 450,077 visits – an increase of 14,534 visits.

The natural spaces managed by the institution have registered 3,098,913 visits, 7% more than in 2024. The public’s favorites have been The Prince’s Garden and the Island Garden, of the Royal Palace of Aranjuezwith 1,237,157 visitors. They follow him the gardens of Campo del Moroin the Royal Palace of Madrid, with a total of 681,483 visitors and the gardens of the Royal Farm Sitewith 476,734 tourists.

In addition, the National Heritage museum, the Gallery of the Royal Collections, which is two and a half years old, has increased its visits by 12.5% with a total of 741,589 visitors during the year that just ended.
