Pep Guardiola announced: ‘Joško Guardiola will not be around for long’

Injury news Josko Guardiola (23) is still a current topic in the English media, and now the coach has also spoken out Manchester City Pep Guardiola (54) who spoke about the severity of the injury. Croatian national team player in the derby against Chelsea (1-1) suffered a fracture of the tibia of his right leg and will be out of action for several months.

For the first time after Guardiola’s injury, the coach of the ‘citizens’, who are due to face Brighton on Wednesday, commented on the new situation. Pep Guardiola was not too loud at the press conference and stated:

– He won’t be around for a long time – he added:

– I am satisfied with the team we had before the season and I am satisfied with the team we have now. Ž we wish Joško and Ruben (Dias) to return as soon as possible, as well as John (Stones). The games from Africa will return, we have to survive this period and move on.

Guardiola is awaiting an operation and recovery that may take several months, which puts his appearance at the World Cup, which starts in June, into question. As far as the club level is concerned, Manchester City must find a new solution in defense.
