Who built your car? Terminator! Instead of people, 30,000 robots will work in this factory

South Korean manufacturer Boston Dynamics Hyundai plans to install 30,000 humanoid robots in its factories within two years. They presented a production version of the robot called Atlas, which will initially work with people, can be easily trained, but also improve over time.

Armies of humanoid robots are expected to begin working on parts-sequencing tasks in 2028, gradually expanding to more complex tasks.

They will work on assembling the components until 2030, after which they should be “employed” on tasks that include heavy loads and complex operations, all in order to prevent injuries to workers in high-risk tasks.
