You won’t go to Pula, you haven’t before. Grbin: ‘Thompson will not sing in Pula while I am mayor!’

And the wait could take a long time. Because the mayor of Pula Pe&dtrok;a Grbin Thompson will not be given a license for the Arena in Pula. And that doesn’t only apply to the Arena, butć for all other areas managed by the city. He clarifies that the rulebook for holding programs in the amphitheater states that a date for holding programs can only be obtained for a program that is of interest to the City of Pula and that is not contrary to the values ​​accepted by the City Statute.

– Having the above in mind, I don’t see how someone who thinks that it should be tragic and bad for Istria that it became part of Croatia in 1945, that is, that it was liberated and finally came under Croatian control, could perform in Pula. In the end, I, as the mayor, have the right to make the decision to ban the concert myself as a representative of the owner, so I can say that while I am the mayor, Thompson will not perform in Pula in spaces managed by the city. Where the city does not have jurisdiction, decisions are made by others, of course – said Grbin for Ve&ccaronji list.

He did not want to comment on Thompson’s appearances in Poreč, where the city government with the head of IDS Loris Peršurićem she did not ban concerts.
