Hotel Rubens announces expansion and provides a first in Belgium: “We also give something back to Antwerp”

“With this project we are not just building a hotel,” says owner Didier Boehlen, “we are also giving something back to Antwerp. A place where history, hospitality and urban serenity come together again.”

The demolition work has now been completed and the construction of the new section is in full swing. The hotel states that most standard rooms are far enough away from the construction zone and that any inconvenience is kept to a minimum.

The new name will be official The Rubens Antwerp, Curio Collection by Hilton. The latter is a global portfolio of 190 unique hotels that remain independent but fall under the Hilton flag. It is a first in our country.
