Apple releases the Creator Studio application package priced at 199,000 VND per month

Apple today introduced a copyright software package for content creators Creator Studio including 6 applications: Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro (on iPad and Mac), Motion, Compressor, MainStage (on Mac) as well as exclusive AI features and content.

Users can use all 6 software for a subscription price of 199,000 VND per month or 1.99 million VND per year. This is a significantly more attractive number than when buying each application individually. For example, Final Cut Pro alone has a package purchase price of 9.99 million VND on a Mac and a subscription of 129,000 VND/month or 990,000 VND/year for iPad.

Creator Studio’s fee is currently only equivalent to the Microsoft Office 365 office suite in Vietnam. Compared to professional photo and video editing applications in the Adobe suite, Apple’s software package is also significantly more competitive. Buying a “combo” at a cheaper price will also help the company motivate many users to buy all 6 software instead of buying them individually.

In addition to access to creative apps, users will also get access to exclusive AI features and premium content of these apps as well as the iWork range of office software such as Numbers, Pages and Keynote, and Freeform apps later this year.

For example, in Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad, users with an Apple Creator Studio subscription will get access to the new Warp tool to rotate and shape image layers. In Numbers, Pages, and Keynote, an Apple Creator Studio subscription unlocks Content Hub with royalty-free photos, templates, and themes.

Apple Creator Studio will appear as a downloadable application on the App Store from January 29. All new registered users will receive a one-month free trial. When you buy a new iPad or Mac, you’ll get three months of free use. For those working in the education industry, the price will decrease to 79,000 VND per month or 790,000 VND per year.

Apps in the Creator Studio plan can also be shared within a family group of up to 6 members.

Users still have the option to purchase individual applications (lifetime use per account but only on Mac) including Final Cut Pro (VND 9,999,000), Logic Pro (VND 5,999,000), Pixelmator Pro (VND 1,499,000), Motion (VND 1,499,000), Compressor (VND 1,499,000) and MainStage (VND 999,000). Free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform continue to be available and come pre-installed on every new iPhone, Mac, and iPad.

Final Cut Pro is Apple’s flagship film editing software, while Logic Pro is a music creation and sound post-production suite that meets professional industry standards. Pixelmator Pro is an image editing application that integrates AI and Motion, specializing in motion graphics processing to support Final Cut Pro, while Compressor is a professional video compression and format conversion tool. Finally, MainStage is software that turns your Mac into an audio processing workstation for live performance, supporting Logic Pro.
