STOCK EXCHANGE: With the result guidance and the Nubeqa assessment, Orion is on the rise in the stock market

The Helsinki Stock Exchange opened on Wednesday with a rise of 0.5 percent to 12,616 points.

The most significant news of the morning came from a pharmaceutical company from Orion. On Wednesday morning, Orion gave an outlook estimate for the year 2026 and estimated that the annual Nubeqa turnover recorded by the company has the potential to exceed one billion euros in the future.

Orion estimates that this year’s turnover would be 1,900–2,100 million euros. The operating profit, on the other hand, is estimated to be 550–750 million euros.

Inderes analyst Antti Siltanen according to the guidance exceeded expectations in terms of turnover and the middle of the profit guidance is also higher than forecasts. In addition, the company detailed Nubeqa’s long-term profit potential, which is in line with Inderes’ forecasts.

“The information creates pressure to raise the forecasts,” Siltanen wrote in the morning review.

Orion’s share was quoted about 20 minutes after the opening with a ten percent increase.

Duell announced its results

In the morning, we also received one result announcement, when the one with a different financial year duel published its results. The motor sports distribution company’s operating result was -0.8 million euros, while the average of two analysts estimated it to have been -0.3 million euros.

“Due to the slow start of the winter season and the challenges in France, turnover and profitability were lower than the previous year. As a result of the challenging quarter, inventory levels remained high despite generally improved working capital management”, CEO of Duell Magnus Miemois said in the results release.

The real estate consulting company Sitowise announced that it has appointed a new CEO. Anna Wäck starts as the company’s CEO and continues in the position Heikki Haasmaata. The company announced Haasmaa’s departure on Monday.

Nokian Tires in turn announced that the company’s new CFO has been appointed Timo Koponenwho will start the position on April 15 at the latest.

Manufacturer of cranes and provider of maintenance services Konecranes announced that it has received its sixth jib crane order from the US Navy. The order is part of the contract originally announced in December 2019. Now, an order worth about 50 million was booked for January.
