Ayuso insists that she is not going to “submit to the lynching” of Julio Iglesias, “an artist who is not a politician”

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, insisted this Thursday that she will not “lead to the lynching” of the singer Julio Iglesias or his “discredit” and has stressed that he is “an artist who is not a politician.”

“Our position is fixed. We are not going to contribute to the discrediting of people who are not in politics by politics,” the regional leader stated before the media from the Botanical Garden of Madrid.

Thus, he has stressed that “many other issues” for which they have “taken responsibility” such as “the New York judge who could condemn (José Luis Rodríguez) Zapatero”, the “imputations of Begoña Gómez” or the situation of the State Attorney General’s Office.

“We have too much to talk about. My words are fixed and they have them written there, they remain written, but there are many other things happening,” the president stressed.
