Tour from Orelsan to Caen: a stunning first concert between Japanese house, stunts and videos of incredible quality

Electro-rock entry for the pope of French rap. It is on “Yoroï” and its impressive “Daft Punk”-style guitar riff that Orelsan’s new show begins this Friday evening. He stumbles on some lyrics on the first songs? No one holds it against him here. It is at his home, in Caen (Calvados), that the 43-year-old singer is launching his new “family celebration” with more than 6,500 white-hot fans for this curtain-raiser at home. The show by the winner of twelve Victoires de la Musique – only one statuette short of the record – is highly anticipated.

An adventure film shot in Japan which did not attract crowds (less than 300,000 admissions for “Yoroï”). A record which did not experience the XXL success of its predecessor (“The Flight Forward” finished in a disappointing 23rd place among the most listened to albums of 2025 despite the best start of the year). A documentary far from becoming a phenomenon on Prime Video. It was urgent for rapper Orelsan to set the record straight.
