Turkish Foreign Minister: “Israel is a regional threat, we will not tolerate violence against Iran”

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that Israel poses a threat to the states of the region. He expressed concern about the escalation around Iran, calling for a diplomatic solution.

“What is happening in Iran is disturbing. We hope that the conflict between the United States and Iran will be resolved through dialogue. We categorically reject a military solution and will not tolerate violence against Iran,” he said, ignoring the violence in Iran itself.

Fidan had a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, and met with US Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack, who is also the administration’s special envoy to Syria and Lebanon.
