An Argentine company partners with a global oil giant to grow in the region

According to the company, the agreement establishesA broad cooperation framework that will promote DAPSA’s regional growth based on the commercialization of commodities provided by Chevron. In parallel, both companies will evaluate other areas of integration that could be expanded in the future, including the expansion of logistics infrastructure for supply.

In addition to enabling new lines of cooperation, the understanding incorporates commercial conditions specially designed to position DAPSA more competitively in the region’s markets.

This includes the possibility of offering high quality fuels, backed by one of the most recognized oil companies in the world. Today DAPSA has just over 200 service stations in Argentina.

The Argentine company highlighted that this move constitutes a decisive step in its growth strategy: “This strategic development is aimed at strengthen our local model by replicating it at the regional level. For this, it is necessary to add new operators in neighboring countries that share our values ​​and vocation to work together, taking advantage of synergies as true strategic partners, accelerating the expansion of the project and allowing us to capture the enormous potential of the strategic alliance that we have built with Chevron,” stated DAPSA spokespersons.

With more than half a century of experience in the energy sector, DAPSA currently operates a network of approximately 200 service stations in Argentina. The company also has a port terminal in Dock Sud, whose capacity exceeds 140,000 cubic meters of storage, connected by pipelines to the main refineries and port terminals in the country and the region.

At the industrial level, DAPSA maintains a prominent position: it concentrates close to 10% of local lubricant production and easily leads the lubricating grease segment, where it reaches around 60% of the market.

Despite the new regional direction, the company clarified that it will continue to market products of national origin in its network of service stations in Argentina, guaranteeing the continuity of its current commercial offer.

As part of the international expansion process, the company is evaluating the possibility of unifying the brand identity of all its service stations in the different countries where it operates. “Although there are no details, the possibility of rebranding the network is contemplated, unifying all service station developments under the same banner,” said internal sources.

Although specific details of the agreement with Chevron were not revealed – due to confidentiality reasons common in this type of operations – the company announced that the understanding opens a new stage in its corporate strategy.

“We are very excited about this new scenario and the great opportunities that an agreement of this magnitude represents. We are already working intensely to advance progressively by adding regional strategic partners and continue growing in a sustained manner, promoting the development of our operators to another level, but always maintaining the reliability, closeness to the operator and transparency that are the differential values ​​that have accompanied us throughout our history,” they stated from DAPSA.

With this move, the company takes a firm step towards its regionalization and prepares the ground to compete on a broader stage, supported by a strong global partner and with its sights set on becoming a relevant player in the fuel markets of Latin America.
