Sting’s return to his roots with “The Last Ship”: “I owed a debt to my original community”

On this evening at the end of last December, the singer left his properties in Tuscany and the English countryside to take over the huge rehearsal room located in an industrial area in west London. With his troupe, he has been practicing for a month the revival of “The Last Ship”, a musical comedy that he wrote and composed in the 2010s, before performing it, from 2014, in the United States, Great Britain and Canada. It will be given, for the first time in France, at La Seine musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), from February 18 to March 8, surtitled in our language.
