“I just want to say one thing to the people of Iran,” said Fatma (pseudonym). “Pay attention to the oppressive forces. Your commanders have already closed escape routes for themselves. My father, an officer in the Revolutionary Guards regime, issued for me, his daughter, my mother and our entire family fake passports with fake names to smuggle us abroad. My father hid suitcases full of dollars at home.”

“They are threatening me on the phones,” she continues in her shocking testimony. “They tell me to go to the tribunal in The Hague, but I live in prison. I witnessed the crimes my father committed. Where do I go? I have photos, videos and documents, we are not like that.” Fatma says that she herself was part of the protesters: “I went out to protest until they caught me along with some of my friends. When they recognized who I was, my father came to release me. At home he beat me with these so that I wouldn’t go out again.”

“My father is shameless, I hate him,” she admitted painfully. “They sexually assaulted my friends. We don’t want these people. They kill their own children, do you know how painful it is? They told us to pray at night. I was born into this Islam, I still wear a hijab – but this life was imposed on me. If I could, I would be the first to kill him.”

“I could not bear this disgrace,” Fatma admits and says that she tried to end her life. She called on her father and all the oppressive forces to put down their clubs and come down to the people: “If you hear my voice, you will know that they are indeed constantly trying to bribe relatives and friends with sums of money to join them and suppress the protests. But when I opened my eyes, I saw a different reality. Above my father’s oppression. We have fake passports, dollars and good houses. I can use it, but I am putting myself at risk.

“I tried to commit suicide twice, my mother saved me”

“This very conversation puts me at risk, my father wanted to kill me,” Fatma continued and told about the confidence that was taken from her: “I’m afraid because it already happened, they caught me and took me for interrogation. In the end I was only released thanks to my father, but the shame is still on me. At that moment I felt that I was alive, but dead inside.”

Her shocking testimony comes amid fears in Iran of a possible attack by Trump. We would like to emphasize that according to senior officials in the American administration, the President of the United States has postponed for the time being the decision to attack Iran. This is as part of a renewed assessment of the situation by the White House in an attempt to formulate the best course of action.
