The deputy leader of the Armenian Diocese of Switzerland has been relieved of his post

Parthev Bishop Barseghyan, the leader of the Gegharkunyats Diocese, was appointed the head of the Armenian Diocese of Switzerland.

According to another decision of the Catholicos, the spiritual inspector of penitentiary institutions, Isaac Poghosyan, will occupy the post of vicar of the diocese of Gegharkunyats.

Fr. Gusan Aljanyan, who joined the anti-Catholic team at the beginning of the year, earlier accused the Rev. Vehapar of anti-canonical steps.

“The election of the leader is done by the people from among three candidates, we are a democratic church. The prime minister and ten bishops convened the first meeting of the council about 10 days ago after the signing of the declaration on the renovation of the church. On the agenda was the issue of dismissing the Catholicos.
