The average hourly price of exchange electricity for consumers (incl. VAT 25.5 percent) will rise to an exceptionally high level on Tuesday. The highest hourly price of the day is 33.8 cents per kilowatt hour at 5 p.m.

The price record in the Finnish electricity market was probably set on January 5, 2024, when electricity cost a maximum of 235 cents per kilowatt hour and the daily average price was over 100 cents per kilowatt hour.
