Transfer coup: U17 World Cup top scorer signs with Salzburg

The attacking midfielder came in Sommer 2021 from his hometown of Carinthia to Salzburg and initially played for them Red-Bull-Akademie in the U15-, U16- and U18 team. This was followed – in keeping with the Salzburg way – by appearances for the U19s UEFA Youth League (4 games, 1 goal) and the cooperation club FC Liefering (13 games, 1 goal).

Moser and his national teammates were able to set a special exclamation mark last November at the U17 World Cup in Qatar. There he scored eight goals for the runner-up world champion Austria and was thus Top scorer as well as second best player of the tournament.
Johannes Moser will remain as until further notice Cooperation player used at FC Liefering.
