5 billion dollars: Trump started a war against the largest bank in the USA

US President Donald Trump has filed a $5 billion lawsuit against the giant American banking corporation JPMorgan Chase, the Reuters news agency reported today (Friday). The lawsuit was also filed against the company’s CEO, Jamie Damon, alleging that the bank closed his accounts because he used them to promote a political agenda.

The lawsuit, which was filed in a Florida court, accuses the largest bank in the United States of violating the policy that the President of the United States established himself. “We regret that President Trump is suing us, and believe that the lawsuit has no basis,” the bank said. “We respect the president’s right to sue us and our right to defend ourselves.”

“They shouldn’t have done what they did,” Trump said from Air Force One, just before taking off back to the US from the Davos conference. “So wrong. I don’t know what their excuse is. Except that not only JPMorgan Chase was kidnapped from Trump. The president also attacked another large bank – Bank of America, for closing accounts for reasons not related to debt or a criminal offense, but considerations of regulation and internal banking policy.

Trump accused JPMorgan Chase of unilaterally violating the bank’s principles by closing accounts belonging to him and the travel companies he owns. He accused the bank’s CEO Damon of compiling a “malicious blacklist” to warn other banks against doing business with companies owned by Trump and his family, as well as with Trump himself.
