Armenia is ready to host the Azerbaijani delegation as part of Cop17. This was announced by Environment Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan.
The minister noted that the inviting party is not only Armenia, but also the United Nations.
“All countries are informed about the days. An official invitation has not been sent, it will be sent soon. The invitation is sent with the United Nations, this is both our event and a global event, we invite all countries, all 196 countries,” he noted.
- The United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity is one of the three global environmental conventions, regulating the efforts of the international community in the field of environmental vitality, biological diversity conservation, restoration and sustainable use of natural resources.
- Conferences are organized once in two years.
