The scrutiny in California Superior Court in Los Angeles comes after a 19-year-old California woman, identified by the letters KGM, filed a lawsuit in which she said she was addicted to the platforms affiliated with the three companies at an early age, because of their attractive design, according to court records. The young woman said: These applications exacerbated her depression and suicidal thoughts, and she seeks to blame the companies.
