“Europe is no longer the main center of gravity of the USA,” said Kaya Callas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Relations and Security Affairs, during the international conference that started in Paris today.
“This change did not happen all at once. It is a systemic change and is not temporary,” said the head of European diplomacy.
According to Kallas, taking into account these changes in American policy, Europe should take serious steps to ensure its security by its own forces.
“No great state has ever reassigned the question of its survival to a third party and succeeded,” Kaia Kallas said.
