Explosions in Iran. there are victims and wounded

As a result of an explosion in Bandar Abbas, Iran, one person was killed and 14 others were injured, according to Iranian media. The cause of the explosion was not reported. The semi-official Tasnim news agency stated that the information spread on social networks claiming that the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was the target of the explosion is “completely false”. Iranian media reported that the circumstances of the explosion were being investigated. The port of Bandar Abbas is located in the Strait of Hormuz, through which about one-fifth of the world’s oil is transported. Referring to the head of the city’s fire service, Tehran Times reports on a gas explosion in a residential building in Ahvaz, Iran, as a result of which four people died.
