New ÖFB study: Why investments in football are extremely lucrative

ÖFB supervisory board chairman Josef Pröll and study author Dr. Anna Kleissner, managing partner of Econmove GmbH, presented the central results of the study on Friday at the ÖFB Campus “The social return on investment in football – on the economic and socio-economic importance of football in Austria”.

“This study makes it clear that football is a central social and economic factor in Austria,” says Josef Pröll proudly. “It combines economic performance with social responsibility, health benefits and strong voluntary commitment.”
