Consumer goods company Marico (India) bought 75% of Skinetiq shares, co-founded by Ms. Hannah Nguyen (Hannah Olala).
With Skinetiq’s equity valuation of about 1,000 billion VND, the deal value is estimated at about 750 billion, carried out through Marico South-East Asia Corporation – a wholly owned member company headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City by Marico.
Skinetiq was founded in 2020 by Mr. Bui Ngoc Anh and Ms. Hannah Nguyen, better known as Hannah Olala, a beauty content creator with more than 1.5 million followers on TikTok and Facebook.
This business owns the Candid skin care brand and exclusively distributes the Murad brand in Vietnam. They record most of their revenue from online channels and grow rapidly through social commerce. In 2025, Skinetiq announces a revenue of 450 billion VND, maintaining an average pre-tax profit of over 20%.

Marico belongs to a group of leading consumer products manufacturing corporations specializing in beauty and health care in India. In fiscal year 2024-2025, they recorded revenue of 1.3 billion USD. The international business segment currently contributes about 25% of group revenue, with brands such as HairCode, Fiancée, Caivil, Hercules, X-Men, Purité de Provence…
Marico bought a controlling stake in Skinetiq in the context of Vietnam’s beauty industry changing strongly, with about 50% of consumption driven by e-commerce channels and social networks.
Data from the Metric platform shows that beauty was the category with the largest sales volume (GMV) last year on Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada and Tiki. Vietnamese people spent nearly 74,500 billion VND to buy more than 560 million beauty products on these 4 floors, an increase of nearly 30% in value and more than 6% in quantity compared to 2024.
Ms. Hannah Nguyen was born in 1984 in Buon Ma Thuot and immigrated to the United States at a young age. She graduated with a degree in Economics from City University of New York. In 2011, she returned home, pursued the beauty industry, and became an industry influencer (KOL), known as Hannah Olala. In addition to co-founding Skinetiq, she is the CEO of MCN Olala – an ecosystem specializing in sharing beauty knowledge and personal experiences.
